ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN MEKANISME PENANAMAN MODAL ASING DI INDONESIA DAN MEXICO

Abstract

Foreign investment in a country has many benefits for a country, especially developing countries such as Indonesia. Foreign investment activities carried out in Indonesia greatly affect the development of the Indonesian economy for the better. Indonesia and Mexico both have a long history in the field of foreign investment. In this paper, the author analyzes the mechanism of foreign investment between Mexico and Indonesia. The author used a juridical normative research method by examining library materials. Foreign investment activities in Indonesia and Mexico have similarities, namely related to the registration of business fields that foreign investment may and may not do and also the provisions on the percentage of foreign capital that have been determined. In addition to having similarities, the regulation of foreign investment in Indonesia and Mexico also has differences regarding the percentage of permitted foreign capital and the type of business field.
